Have you ever awakened with neck pain or a stiff neck, making you feel uncomfortable and you don’t know what to do?  Maybe you want to try this

.: 1:Massage Luo Zhen.  The point is found on the back of the hand between the two bones in the depression just past the knuckles of the pointer and middle finger.  Massage the point on the opposite side of the pain you are feeling.  For example, if the right side of your neck is stiff or painful, massage the point on your left hand. Massage gently and firmly with small circular motions.  At the same time, while you hold the pressure, exercise your neck by rotating your head side to side. Do this 3-5 minutes.  You should notice an increase in range of motion and a decrease in pain.

2:Massage SI 3.  When a loose fist is made, the point is at bottom of the pinky finger, at the crease where white and dark skin meet. Use your other index finger, press gently and firmly on the point for 3-5 minutes on both hands.

Drink warm water or ginger tea after.

Stay pain free!

You read about a cold reproductive system from my post yesterday.” In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Cold reproductive system is the root cause of many women’s diseases, such as irregular menstrual cycle, amenorrhea, painful menstruation, ovarian cysts, pcos, endometriosis,  tumors in these areas, irregular discharges, hormonal imbalance and infertility. “

I will show you today how to warm your reproductive system with these simple exercises.

1. Butterfly stretches: put your feet together and move your knees up and down for 10 minutes daily. This exercise strengthens the liver meridian which is responsible for the maintenance of the circulation of qi, blood, and body fluid, as well as the reproductive function. This exercise also activates the Baliao points on the sacrum. It will increase Qi and blood to the reproductive system thus warming the system at the same time.

2. Massage the Ren channel which is in the center front of the body as you can see in the picture on the middle left. Gently massage with downward action 200 times daily.  This will warm the channel and the reproductive system and also improve digestion.  You can do this after you eat but make sure you rub it gently.

3. Massage belt vessel which binds together all of the meridians.  A healthy belt vessel can maintain healthy Qi flow in all meridians.  Start by putting both hands on each side of the waist and squeeze 200 times daily. In addition to  warming the reproductive system this can also help you lose weight. (Check my previous post on what is belt vessel.)

4. Massage lower abdomen, place left hand over right hand, with clockwise circular motion, massage 10 minutes daily. In TCM, Infertility is related to different patterns. One can be kidney deficiency. If you have any two of these symptoms:  you work long hours; experience a sore back; cold hands and feet; edema; hot flashes; ear ringing; weak limbs and joints; or, frequent urination, then you should try adding this acupressure massage with the ❤️Fertility video I posted last Week.

1. Locate BL 23 at the back, level with L2 vertebrae, at the same level as the end of the rib cage about 2 fingers away from the spine. BL 23 is a key acupoint for invigorating the vitality of the Kidneys. Use two tennis balls, hold for 3-5 minutes.

2. Locate BL 17, also at the back, at the level of the bottom of the scapula, 2 fingers from the spine. BL 17 refreshes, nourishes and invigorates the Blood. Move the tennis ball there and hold it for 3-5 minutes.

3. Massage Ki 3, located in the depression midway between the tip of the medial malleolus and the attachment of the Achilles tendon. Ki 3 tonifies Kidney Qi, Yin or Yang Deficiencies from any etiology.  Use one or 2 fingers; massage with back and forth or circular motions for 3-5 minutes on both feet.

4. Drink ginger tea afterward.

Do this daily, 3-7 times a week.

Stay tuned for more videos on how to help other patterns and treatments for infertility.

Thanks @smittyinthecity for demonstrating how to do acupressure. 🐾❤️

You saw the kidney pattern of infertility last Saturday.  Dampness is another pattern of infertility.  For this type of pattern, you feel heavy, experience loose stools, a bloated stomach, joints pain aggregated more by cold and rainy day, and have a white and slippery (wet) tongue coating. Pcos, endometriosis, fibroid, ringing in the ear or anybody has the above symptoms can also massage these points.

If you think you belong to this type of infertility pattern you should massage as shown in the first fertility video then follow with this one.

Massage ST 40 which is located on outer side of the lower leg, about half way between the outer anklebone and the lower border of knee.  Often you will find this area feels like a depression, perhaps a little when there is a lot of phlegm or mucous in the body.  Press using a counterclockwise motion for 5 minutes.  Do it on both sides daily 3-6 times a week.

Massage SP 9.  It is below and on the inside of the knee, when you put your hand there you will feel a soreness. Massage in a counterclockwise circular motion for 5 minutes on both sides daily 3-6 times a week.

Drink Ginger tea after.
