Kidney Strengthening

Today I am going to show you how to strengthen your kidneys.

1: Feet soaking: soak both feet in warm/hot, distilled water for about 20 minutes (you can add epsom salt or ginger or use just plain water). This will warm KI 1, tonify Kidney Yin and calm the mind. (Check for more details in my previous post about the benefits of KI1.) .

2: Massage BL23 while your feet are still in the water.  Make fists and put them at the back of waist area, rub with upward and downward strokes for 5-10 minutes. This will stimulate BL23, which strengthens the Kidneys, tonifies the Kidney Qi and Yang, benefits the Essence (jing) and nourishes the Kidney Yin.  Also it will strengthen the lower back and lumbar regions. (Again, check more detailed benefits from my previous post.) .

3: Ear massage:  In Chinese medicine, Kidney opens to the ear; by massaging the ears it will strengthen Kidney and the whole body Qi. Try to massage 5-10 minutes. (Check how to do the ear massage from my previous post )Drink ginger tea or warm water afterward.

You can do this 2-5 times weekly.
