Qi
*Qi tincture is perhaps the most versatile herbal formula in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). It has been used for centuries to aid against pathogenic attacks to the immune system like influenza, intestinal flu, viruses, bacteria, acute gastroenteritis, acute diarrhea, acute colitis, abdominal pain, headaches, IBS, nausea/ vomiting, abdominal fullness and distention, sunstroke and fungal infection.
In this formula, each herb is used for its specific properties to remove external pathogens, release dampness, phlegm and harmonize the Stomach. These actions support the immune system and overall immune response.
Ingredients:
Huo Xiang, Zi Su Ye, Bai Zhi, Da Fu Pi, Bai Zhu, Fu Ling, Zhi Ban Xia, Hou Po, Jie Geng, Chen Pi, Gan Cao, Da Zao, Organic cane alcohol.
Directions:
Take ½ dropper directly in mouth or in 1oz of liquid when needed, 2-3 times daily, 40 minutes after meals.
For topical application use 5 drops - ½ dropper, 2-3 times daily.
Kids use 1/4 to 1/3 of the adult dose.
For children or those not wanting to consume alcohol, place drops on a teaspoon or into ½ oz warm liquid (tea or water) for 5-10 min to evaporate the alcohol before consuming.
I have been using this formula for my patients to treat anything from fever, headaches, dizziness, to flatulence, vomiting and nauseousness, excesses phlegm, dampness, light headed feeling and tinnitus.
