Licorice Extract
* Licorice Root or Gan Cao 甘草 is one of the most important herbs in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
Licorice Root strengthens the Spleen and increases Qi; Expels phlegm and stops cough; Clears heat and resolves toxicity; Relaxes spasms and alleviates pain.
Contraindications: not to be used as a daily supplement, use as needed and follow the instructions on the label which are 5-20 drops as needed, taken orally or in 1oz of water.
Expiration date: 6 years
If you are taking other prescribed medications, be sure to separate the sequence by one hour. Take this one hour before or one hour after other medications.
